Dear Everyone
Are you in a season of waiting?
”Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not see.” Hebrews 11:1
”But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagle; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Through the prophet Isaiah and many other prophets, God promised Israel a coming Messiah. An anointed King who would reign in peace.
”Unto us a Child is born; unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Couselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
It is hard waiting on a promise. It was hard when I was a kid waiting to open presents at an appointed time and it is hard now waiting on promises from God to be fulfilled.
The time was 1 B.C. (Before Christ) Israel has waited hundreds of years for their long awaited Messiah. The calendar is about to switch from B.C. To A.D. (annoDomini, the year of our Lord.) Many in the land held onto every promise of God, others grew tired of waiting.
Which group do you fall into?
I discuss this dilemma in my first book, “Through Their Eyes.”
This November I will be re-releasing my first book, “Through Their Eyes” along with an accompanied prayer journal. This will be a revised second printing of the book. To order your copy just go to my Online Store. You will find this tab at the top of the home page.
